廣東歌曲很多時都夾雜著不同語言，最常見的是國語，例如張學友的《我等到花兒也謝了》，會唱到一半突然間送上三句國語：「你知不知道，你知不知道，我等到花兒也謝了！」
英文也是很常見的，近日容祖兒的地鐵廣告歌《陪我長大》，也會奇怪地加上”Let's take the ride!”
八、九十年代很流行改篇日文，黎明在《我的親愛》裡也對前度愛人說：「さようなら！(再見！)」
近期還有王菀之的《真心話》，開首大唱法文：”j'aime ma vie toujours, chantez avec moi (I always like my life, sing with me!)” 特別鳴謝靜宜解譯法文！
粵語歌曲的作詞人，比較多元化。
這個話題我也有興趣, 而且又關歌曲. 不過我是比較不喜歡夾雜其他不同語言的歌, 較喜歡單一式的, 我想因為這樣才獨特.
講到這個又得說到我的偶像(日本)歌星之一: 濱崎步, 欣賞她作詞的才華, 她剛出道時作的歌都是英文歌名, 但歌詞郤完全找不到一個英文字, 我特別喜歡她這點! 以下是從 wiki 攝取有關她寫詞的資料 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayumi_Hamasaki) :
